Teaching Methodology
Communicative Approach
Objective: Develop real communication skills in Spanish through active practice.
Use of dialogues, role-playing, and real-life situations. Interactive classes where students speak from day one. Ideal for all ages, with topics adapted to different levels and contexts.
Task-Based Learning (TBL)
Objective: Learn Spanish by completing meaningful, real-world tasks. Projects and activities focused on problem-solving. Activities such as writing emails, giving presentations, or researching a topic. Motivating for both adults and children, as learning has a clear purpose.
Natural Approach or Immersion Method
Objective: Learn Spanish in a way similar to how a native language is acquired. Constant exposure to the language without translations. Use of images, gestures, sounds, and context to teach vocabulary and grammar. Focus on listening comprehension and speaking before formal grammar..

Carolina Serrano is a Colombian psychologist, educator, and certified Spanish instructor with a deep passion for teaching and personal growth.
She has taught in schools and universities both in Colombia and the United States, helping students not only master the Spanish language but also develop confidence and a growth mindset.
As a conference speaker and author, Carolina has explored topics such as temperament, mindset, and stress management—always combining emotional intelligence with practical learning.
Since 2012, she has been teaching Spanish to students around the world through platforms like Wyzant and Superprof, guiding them toward fluency in a fun, natural, and culturally rich way.
Today, she leads her own academy, where learning Spanish becomes more than just grammar—it’s an experience of connection, joy, and discovery.
